Paul McGrath joins Underknown to expand creator-led content, streamline operations and elevate its global digital footprint.
Toronto, ON — Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 — Underknown Studios, the creator-led digital media company behind What If, How to Survive, Animalogic, and more than 100 owned-and-operated programmatic channels, is pleased to announce that longtime CBC executive Paul McGrath has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Content & Operations.

In his new role, Paul will work closely with Underknown Co-Founder Raphael Faeh, driving innovation across the organization. He will lead initiatives to improve workflows, strengthen content pipelines, and identify operational efficiencies across Underknown’s rapidly expanding network of more than 100 owned-and-operated channels. “We’ve admired Paul’s work for a long time. His combined expertise in traditional broadcast, digital transformation and strategy, and software development uniquely positions him to guide partners through audience growth, content strategy, workflow modernization, and channel optimization.
