Underknown’s unique way of explaining science by boiling down complex subjects in a fun and engaging way resulted in an invitation by the U.S. House of Representatives to attend Digital Day on the Hill in Washington, D.C.

“Politicians and staffers are always having to boil down complex policies quickly, and they reached out to us at Underknown having seen the What If videos we make. They asked us if we could come to Washington to speak about how we do what we do. My first thought was to hire journalists! Then we thought of sending one of our own, Taylor Moyle,” said CEO and co-founder Steve Hulford.

Video Storyteller Taylor Moyle talks about his visit. “The panel focused on how we make our videos educational and accessible, all while entertaining our audience. I’d say the talk went very well. A bunch of different congress staffers wanted to talk to me and connect. After my panel there then was a digital day presentation from different congress staffers showcasing  content creation tools. While there I spoke with some more people where they then learned I was from Toronto. Wanting to make my trip special, a person who worked for the speaker of the house took me up to the Speaker’s Balcony which gave me a great view of the city.”
