Vacancy: Freelance Snapchat Editor/Producer

We are seeking a high-energy, platform-native Snapchat Editor/Producer for our leading series, Your Body On and Sisterly.

We aren’t just looking for a technical editor; we want someone who is obsessed with the world of body transformations, extreme beauty trends, and influencer culture, and how body-science intersects with these modern lifestyle movements.

Our shows explore everything from the wonders of pregnancy and human anatomy to the science behind extreme plastic surgery trends.

Working alongside our Showrunner and a dedicated team of Visual Researchers, you will turn complex medical concepts and viral transformation stories into thumb-stopping, high-retention Stories and Spotlights for a Gen Z and Millennial audience.

• End-to-End Production: Produce 4 to 6 videos per month (3–5 minute “Stories”). This includes scriptwriting and full video execution based on high-level direction from the Showrunner.
• Format Iteration: Identify what makes a body-transformation or science clip go viral. You should be able to take a medical concept and package it with the pacing and “hooks” of a top-tier influencer story.
• Graphic Storytelling & New Tools: Use a modern toolkit (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and AI-powered tools) to make anatomical science visually clear. We value speed, platform-native aesthetics, and high-impact “Snapchat grammar” (bold text, fast cuts, and “fascinating-but-informative” hooks).
• Visual Synthesis: Work with our Visual Research team to select the most impactful footage and transform it into a cohesive narrative with “Snapchat-native” typography and effects.
• Spotlight & Growth Strategy: Create and publish high-energy Spotlight clips to drive discovery and funnel new viewers to the main profile Stories.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all content strictly adheres to fair-use standards and Snapchat platform guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring medical/anatomical content is presented in a way that is safe for the platform while remaining engaging.
• Full-Cycle Publishing: Manage the upload and optimization process of your videos within Snapchat Profile Manager (Titles, Hero-frame Tiles, and Saved Stories curation).

• The Platform Whisperer: You have an innate sense of what “works” on the Snapchat Discover feed and Spotlight. You know how to “re-hook” a viewer every 10 seconds.
• The Niche Fan: You genuinely love content about body transformations, plastic surgery trends, and influencer stories. You have a pulse on what the internet is talking about in the beauty/lifestyle space, but you also have the curiosity to dig into the anatomy and science that makes those stories possible.
• Adaptable Tech Stack: Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), but also open to using AI tools to optimize your workflow and iterate on successful formats quickly.
• Retention-Focused: You treat the retention graph like a map, you know how to edit to keep viewers watching until the very last second.
